Raised Garden Beds

Picture of small vegetable plans in trays ready to be planted, drip irrigation is visible between them.

Raised garden beds have been installed to demonstrate how easy it is to grow plants at home, whether they are vegetables, herbs or perennial plants and flowers.

The water from this dripline system runs from a simple tap controller, through a pressure reducing coupling and then onto each bed and through a series of lines that delivers 1.6L of water per hour through each dripper.

Each raised bed is fitted with its own automatic vacuum (grey) and flush valve (brown) which automatically flushes water, sand and other contaminants from the system every time it starts.
