The Winter Switch Off campaign has come to an end and Spring is now upon us, which means watering of gardens can only be carried out twice a week based on the Garden Watering Roster.
Watering can take place either before 9am or after 6pm on watering days.
The Garden Watering Roster applies to all schemed water users until the end of May 2020. It does not apply to bore users. The 9am to 6pm ban applies to scheme water and bore water users.
The roster means gardens are watered outside main daylight hours to avoid evaporation and water wastage and conserve this precious resource.
"Responsible water usage is essential to ensure we have a reliable water supply now and in the future," said Aqwest Chief Executive Officer Brad Bevis.
