Annual Supply Charge
Your annual supply charge is a fixed rate applied to the first water bill of each financial year and contributes to delivering sustainable, high quality drinking water to your property.
Aqwest’s Fees and Charges are updated on 1 July annually which includes resetting your water consumption to the base rate.
Fees and charges contribute to:
Installation, maintenance and operation of drinking water infrastructure for over 18,000 water service connections
Provision of high quality drinking water that meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines
Investment in ongoing renewal of almost 400km of water mains and more than 2,200 valves
Provision of locally managed water supply services that support the local community
