Aqwest was on hand to give out water conservation advice and helpful tips with the help of Phillip Best Plumbing Operations Manager John Markby, at the recent Smart 2 Ask Expo in Bunbury.

The free Expo on the Leschenault Inlet foreshore, was aimed at local people who are socially or financially vulnerable, have no or low income and need advice or support about local services.

Service providers from across Bunbury attended providing money saving tips, advice on where to find help, with give-aways, lucky number prize draws, vouchers and discounts.

"The Expo was a great opportunity to speak to the most vulnerable people in our community about how to save money by using water efficiently, how to read their meters and remind them about watering days and the best way to water their gardens," said General Manager Corporate Services Joe Smith.

"It was a very successful day with a lot of people assisted and Aqwest looks forward to being a part of it again next year."
