Aqwest is involved in a number of water conservation activities in the local community.
Aqwest promotes National Water Week in October each year.
In 2018, Aqwest gave out free waterwise plants at the Bunbury Markets on Saturday October 20 to celebrate National Water Week from October 21-27. Everyone who attended received a free seedling suitable for Bunbury conditions, grown by the Leschenault Nursery.
In 2019 Aqwest provided local schools with prize packs with water conservation messages for teachers to give out to students who took part in National Water Week activities from October 21–27. Students embraced the theme of "It's time to save the world", producing colourful and creative waterwise posters.
The 2020 National Water Week will be held from 19-25 October. Watch this space for more details, coming soon!
