Aqwest proposes to build and operate a recycled water treatment plant at Lot 5262 on deposited land 183085, Ocean Drive, Dalyellup to deliver fit-for-purpose recycled water to the Bunbury region. Construction is planned to commence in March 2026 with estimated completion by September 2027.
The Water Recovery Scheme will:
Provide irrigation to 43 hectares of public open space
Save precious groundwater for critical use, such as drinking water
Deliver a long-term sustainable water use initiative

These plans are also available for inspection upon request at the Aqwest Water Services Centre at 2 Hayes Street, Bunbury during office hours (9am to 4pm Monday to Friday).
