Customer Service Officer – Accounts and Billing

Due to internal staff movements, we are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Accounts and Billing team. The role is the first point of contact for customer support and telephone contact and assists with the processing of meter reads and water billing, attends to enquires and is vital in responding to customer email communications within the Aqwest required timeframes.  

  • Fulltime / Permanent Position

  • Remuneration: Circa $64,000

About the role:

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond as the first point of customer contact and telephone contact.

  • Customer liaison for Accounts related enquiries.

  • Assist with the processing of vacate reads and water billing.

  • Prepare and distribute standard communications to customers such as overdue notices.

  • Record customer information and interactions utilising Aqwest’s systems.

  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of visitors to the Aqwest office.

  • Maintain the Water Efficiency Measures (i.e. water restrictions) registers.

  • Provide support to Accounts Team as required.

  • Responding to emails.

Networks Supervisor

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Networks Supervisor to lead our networks team and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure. This is a hands-on supervisory role ideal for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for mentoring others.

  • Fulltime / Permanent Position

  • Remuneration: Circa $99,000

About the role:

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, support and mentor the Networks team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.

  • Monitor and manage operational budgets as delegated by the Coordinator Water Operations and contribute to planning, scheduling and deliver of works programs.

  • Ensure networks assets are operating effectively and exceeding performance and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with internal teams, authorities, contractors and customers to support asset management, maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate work completed by contractors ensuring safety, environmental and quality standards are met.

What you'll bring to role:

· Cert III in Water Industry Operations and Cert IV in Leadership and Management (or equivalent experience)

· C Class Drivers Licence - (MR licence desired)

· Experience in supervision of multiskilled trades

· Demonstrated ability managing contractors, suppliers and logistics.

· Experience in the Water Industry

· Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
