Scheduling Assistant
As a Scheduling Assistant you’ll coordinate work schedules and provide vital support to our operational teams to ensure efficient and reliable water service delivery.
Full-time position
Remuneration: Circa $64,000 dependant on experience
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to assist works management in contractor aspects of planned internal maintenance works and projects as directed by the Coordinator Works Management.
Assist in the preparation of projects and planned works, including organising traffic management, permits and other supporting works.
Assist in processing customer applications including providing estimations, contacting customers, record keeping and initiating work orders.
Assist in the streamlining of customer service logistics.
Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve customer service.
Maintain and update work orders within the scheduling system in consultation with Works Management team and other stakeholders.
What you’ll bring to role:
A dedicated commitment to customer service excellence
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
Detailed Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
We’d love you to have some experience in estimating and quoting and knowledge of water supply activities, but we will train for the right person.

Procurement & Contracts Support Officer
Aqwest is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Support Officer, to join our Financial Services team. The role is responsible for managing essential procurement matters, administering low-risk contracts and aiding in procurement documentation. They would also maintain procurement records, monitor contract performance, and execute fundamental procurement tasks whilst sustaining positive stakeholder relationships to ensure efficient procurement and contract operations.
About the role:
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Provides general advice to business areas on appropriate supply mechanisms for general procurement, including defining outcomes, specifications, market research, spending approvals, and timeframes.
Creates, reviews, and updates risk and issues assessments and related documentation for low-risk procurements.
Assists in developing low-risk contracts and procurement documentation.
Maintenance and collation of all procurement documentation and registers
Supports or facilitates tender evaluations and prepares tender evaluation reports and other contract or procurement documentation for low-risk contracts.
Administers low-risk contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant government and agency procurement policies and delegations.
