Project Manager

Aqwest is seeking two results driven Project Managers to join the Project team. They will be responsible for planning, executing and closing projects from initiation to completion. As part of the Projects team, they will be working in conjunction on multiple projects and supporting the Manager Project Delivery. The ideal candidate would thrive on organisation, communication and problem solving.
The roles include:
Development of Project and Engineering Management and Delivery plans required for effective project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Liaise with public authorities, contractors, consultants and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage documentation and ensure compliance within an integrated management system.
Lead technical reviews and support the procurement of asset delivery services, including tender evaluations.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in project management and contract management in a construction delivery environment. They will possess relevant tertiary qualification or relevant level of experience and have strong safety values. High levels of organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills will be an advantage.

Networks Controller

Aqwest is seeking a Networks Controller to join the Networks Operational team.
The Networks Controller operates and maintains water supply assets safely and efficiently , in compliance with relevant standards and procedures. It includes responding to emergencies and performing maintenance and minor construction tasks. The position requires liaising with customers, contractors and authorities while contributing to service improvements. They are part of a team of Network Controllers that are responsible for the delivery of quality safe drinking water to our customers.
The successful applicant will have the ability to hold Confined Space, Working at Heights, self-contained breathing apparatus and chlorine/chemical handling certifications. A current driver’s licence is a must. Training will be provided to the successful applicant. Experience in the Water Industry would be an advantage.
