Photography Competition

2023 Photography Competition

The winners of this year’s Aqwest Photography Competition were announced at an awards evening at Aqwest on 31 August 2023. The winners received prize money for themselves and their school along with a canvas print of their photo. Winning photographs will feature in the Aqwest 2024 calendar.

This year students were encouraged to submit photos that represent the theme 'Caring for Country and Water'. The judges looked for photos that portray the sustainable use of water and how we care for our water and surrounding environment. This included water in its natural state or creative uses of water. Over 300 photos were received.
